2012 Pricing and Ordering Page:

I set my prices based on the cost of the materials and the amount of work it takes to build them. Therefore a 115gr VLD bullet is substantially more expensive than a 66gr bullet. Unless I get price increases in lead and copper, I am not anticipating any price increases for 2012. I can build 1000 regular bullets in a day, and 800 VLDs in a day.

    Checks or Money Orders made out to DON LAHR are cheerfully accepted if you don't wish to order over the computer. I use USPS Priority Flat Rate mailing service because it is fast and offers the best price for heavy items. Delivery is to every address in the United States - including PO Boxes and military addresses in two days. My Shipping and handling charges are based on the dollar amount of the total order. This allows me to automatically combine shipping for those ordering more than one item. This benefits you since I can often pack more than one item in each carton. The charge to ANY USA zip code for orders from $0.01-$104.99 is only $10.00, from $105.00-$780.99 is only $16.00. Pricing for my products, and my shipping and handling may change to keep up with my costs.

    Customers who place orders and attend matches that I attend may request that I bring their orders with me to save on shipping.

     Notes on Jackets: I am a very picky person. Because I am, and because I take the time to inspect every bullet I make to assure perfection, I have noticed occasionally that the J4 jackets are shipped to me with purple spots or marks already on them. This will not come off even with my ultrasonic cleaning. I have returned several thousand jackets to Berger for replacement, which has held up filling many of my orders. After discussing the issue with them I am convinced they are are doing everything possible to avoid these spots, but because they are in California and their laws prohibit the use of various effective chemicals in the rinse process, they are forced to use deionized water instead. The spots are a result of evaporation of the deionized water used in the rinse process, and there is no way they can assure me that they can provide 100% spot free jackets. They assure me that spots or marks on the bullet in no way effect the performance of the bullet. I will try to throw away jackets I see with spots, but if there are just too many to waste, I will be forced to send out bullets with some marks on them. That is simply beyond my control and there are no alternative suppliers that provide all the sizes I need to build bullets from 66gr through 115gr. I apologize for these occasional, unavoidable, cosmetic imperfections but I stand by the performance of my products.  

     I can build bullets in a wide variety of configurations and have discontinued a few styles that weren't requested very often. These 34 designs seem to be the most popular, but if you need something not listed it is worth asking to see if I am able to build what you want.
